Although  this kind of hollow rotary actuator do circular  motions driven by close-cycle stepper motors, but it still can get higher speed 200RPM per minute due to its small ratio.  The Rotary indexing table automation has stronger aluminium shell with big hollow hole.  Choosing the hollow rotary actuator is a very economic solution, so hollow rotary actuator is widely used in robots mechanical arm, CNC equipment and automobile transmission system.

Characteristics of the Closed Loop Control Hollow Rotary Actuator

The controller sends instructions (such as target Angle or rotational speed) to the motor driver.

2. The motor drives the input shaft to rotate, which in turn drives the gear set inside the reducer.

3. The output shaft transmits power through the reducer to drive the load.

4. The encoder detects the actual position of the output shaft in real time and feeds the data back to the controller.

5. The controller compares the target value with the actual value and adjusts the motor output to eliminate errors.

6. The system continuously circulates to achieve precise closed-loop control.
